Every week I am uploading our amazing student's artwork onto their own online art galleries. Teachers, families, and friends can leave encouraging comments on students artwork and our artists can receive national recognition! Visit our school gallery here.

I'm so excited to go to the Science Museum next Saturday, September 27th (10-5 pm) to attend the very first RVA Maker Fest. This is going to be a great opportunity to see HOW people make things and you will get to try out some new techniques yourself! This is a FREE event with great activities for people of all ages! Find out more by going here. Hope to see you there!
Fifth graders are in the process of creating textured ceramic fortune cookies using clay stamps that they made last week. Later they will write fortunes to go inside. What does your future hold? I can't wait to find out what our fifth graders dream for their futures. Students, please remember to bring back your signed Art Release Form. This form is very important! It acts as a permission form for your artwork to leave our school building and be displayed in art shows. Thanks! |
