Fifth graders are in the process of creating textured ceramic fortune cookies using clay stamps that they made last week. Later they will write fortunes to go inside. What does your future hold? I can't wait to find out what our fifth graders dream for their futures.
This project is a new favorite for Mrs. Suder and fourth grade students. After identifying, sorting, and sketching leaves students were asked to bring in a leaf the size of their hand for homework. A great variety of leaves were brought in from around our homes and neighborhoods for this project.
Fourth Grade Student Challenge: Can you describe all of the steps you took to make these beautiful leaves? Press the comment button to type in your answer. The student with the most complete answer will be rewarded with an Art Prize! |
